High-voltage operation—say 400V—drives a stable arc inside a short tube without current spikes. The payoff is predictable output, consistent curing or heating, cycle after cycle. Power is sized to deliver the heat density you need. For example, a 2500W rating on a short body gives intense output—ideal when your line is moving fast. But here’s the trade-off: that kind of density needs cooling you can actually rely on. If your machine can’t shed the heat, lamp life and process stability will take a hit.
Materials and design: built to survive the floor
We use high-purity quartz for the envelope because it handles thermal shock and transmits UV cleanly. When the environment is rough, we add selective coatings to shape the output spectrum and reduce degradation. We also engineer in halogen cycle chemistry to keep the filament stable and slow down darkening over time. On the shop floor, the connector choice is not a small detail. An R7s base gives you a straightforward, robust mechanical and electrical fit, so the lamp drops in and gets to work. If your fixture layout is different, we can spec SK15 or other terminals to match your mounting and wiring.
