Dealing with the heat

To stop that from happening, we use high-purity fused quartz. It keeps the light moving. We also spent a lot of time tuning the ballast circuitry to kill the flicker. Why? Because flicker leads to “striping” on your finished product, and nobody wants that. You’ll get a steady, consistent glow across the whole lamp. Just a heads-up: if you crank up the wattage, you’re adding more heat. Make sure your exhaust fans can actually pull that hot air away, or your UV intensity will tank as the lamp overheats.
Real-world reliability
We obsessed over the connection points. In a loud, messy factory, loose fittings are a disaster—they lead to arcing and blown fuses. We use reinforced connectors that can take a beating and keep on ticking. These systems are built to run 24/7. Now, I won’t tell you these lamps last forever. Nothing does.
